Associate Director of Residential Student Services

Reporting to the Director of Residential Student Services, the Associate Director of Residential Student Services (Associate Director III) is responsible for assisting in the management, development and operation of all aspects of Kean's housing and residence life services. The Associate Director acts with the authority of the Director in their absence; creates policies and procedures for residential student services; and does related work as required. The Associate Director also serves in the on-call duty rotation and responds to crisis and emergency situations. This employee is considered essential personnel and is critical to the functioning of the University and continuation of key operations and services. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. Some travel may also be required.

Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college and two years of professional experience in residence life and residence life programming is required. Three or more years of experience is preferred. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with a culturally diverse community. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
