Dura-Line is hiring for a Maintenance Coordinator in our manufacturing plant in Sparks, NV which is under New Leadership, to help oversee the production of high-quality products within the department. You will drive, support, and maintain lean manufacturing practices in order to work more safely and effectively.

The Schedule:


  • Day Shift 7 A.M. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Monday -Friday
  • Pay for this position is $24.00

What will you be doing?


  • The position is responsible for ordering, setup and storing of MRO components and tooling in support of production.
  • Work with various personnel to apply 5 Whys in troubleshooting stockouts
  • Collaborate with operations management and engineering to track MRO components
  • Maintenance, Repair and Operations Inventory
  • Order repair parts for equipment.
  • Maintain MRO inventory.
  • Order and maintain perishable tooling for production departments.
  • Ensures that Spare parts are made available for each Technician for each work order (Preventative and Corrective)
  • Preventative Maintenance Scheduling and ensuring all parts are in
  • Regularly communicate inventory issues (including stock outs).
  • Stock parts into inventory. Ensure perpetual inventory is maintained.
  • Prepare material to return for repair, core exchange or regrind.
  • Utilize SAP to generate purchase requests.
  • Stores tools in appropriate protective conditions.
  • Maintain the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS):
  • Load and update parts

What will help you be successful in this role?


  • ERP system required; SAP experience desirable (purchasing/PO creation/maintenance planning modules)
  • Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order management system required (5 years)
  • 3+ years' experience in shop organization, parts management , work order management within a manufacturing company
  • Experience issuing and closing out work orders.
  • Experience tracking MTBF, working with Reliability processes
  • Experience creating and tracking critical spare part inventory
  • Knowledge of Production Procedures
  • Data management & data integrity
  • Tracks preventive maintenance work orders and reports on completion progress
  • Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.).
  • Effective written and verbal Communication
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Manage all aspects of MRO/indirect purchasing and distribution while considering cost-effective solutions
  • Able to make quick decision, Creative and analytical skills, autonomous, quick learner
  • Attention to Detail, Problem-Solver, good analytical skills

  • Collaborate with other production workers to ensure that the orders are properly wound onto reels for shipment to customers.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of reliability and maintenance repair and operation storeroom (MRO) techniques
  • 3+years in ordering, setup and storing of MRO components and tooling in support of production, track MRO components, Maintenance, Repair and Operations Inventory, Order repair parts for equipment, Maintain MRO inventory.
