Job Description:

Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible for implementing new functionality as well as maintaining, improving and fixing existing functionality within our suite of SaaS products. The position requires working knowledge of the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into code. You should be client-aware and solution-focused. You will collaborate with product stakeholders to develop a shared understanding of intent, so you can produce high quality software that results in sellable product advances. The Software Engineer is expected to work effectively with minimal daily management oversight.


Primary Functions:
 Implement new functionality (i.e., revisions, features, subsystems), as well as maintaining existing functionality and solving complex problems within our suite of SaaS products.
 Collaborate with team members, product stakeholders and support teams to develop deep understanding of functional domains.
 Interpret functional requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable specifications. Consistently produce high-quality software with a strong desire towards design first approach.
 Document and demo new/changed process or product feature to target users.  Review code written by other peers to ensure it comply with technology, architectural, security standards and provide constructive feedback.
 Keep up with latest technology and ensure frameworks are on latest version  Support team members in order to deliver products to market in an efficient manner. Buddy up with new team member to bring them onboard.
 Facilitate and run backlog grooming, standup and issue triage meetings
 Contribute to wiki documentation for architecture, design and share relevant information to stakeholders and maintain it throughout the life of the project
 Focused on developing a secure software using both static and dynamic analysis tools. Work with InfoSec and own the resolutions of OWASP scan issues
 Coordinate and lead release activities to realize the continuous delivery of product increment
 Work towards optimizing and improving software metrics such as cycle time
 Serve as the initial point of escalation for production issues within specific area of responsibility
 Other duties as assigned by supervisor


Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:
 AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Developer Associate


Education and Years of Experience:
 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
 Minimum 8+ years of experience, with hands-on experience working in a commercial software/web shop


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 Hands-on working experience with ASP.Net, Core, C#, AWS Managed Services.
 Hands-on experience building and supporting mobile-friendly single-page (SPA) web apps using modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular/Typescript/React, Bootstrap, Webpack
 Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns and proven knowledge to apply those in code
 Experience working with highly scalable architecture using micro services
 Prior experience with System integration, Authentication/Authorization using OAuth/JWT/SAML and SSO
 Experience with source control system including GIT and TFS
 Solid understanding of SQL and familiar with No-SQL database programming
 Experience in a software company that implemented and sold software products in a competitive marketplace
 Experience with Agile processes, CI/CD and DevSecOps culture
 Experience building SaaS products and multi-tenant architectures
 Working with support in troubleshooting and handling production issues
 Prior experience in building connector, share point development is desirable
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and iterative development
 Strong desire to learn new technologies and applying them in the solutions we build


Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.):
 Periodic lifting up to 10 pounds.
 Sitting for long periods of time.
 Use of hands for computer work.
 Periodic standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
