Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors. Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest's wins. Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist. Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

Responsible for complete safety of pool and pool area. Responsible for cleanliness, pool temperature, chemical analysis, vacuuming and tile cleaning. Attends to the needs of guests (e. g. dispenses chairs, towels, ashtrays, etc.) as required. Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner; sign them in; escort them to chairs and place towels on chaise lounges for them. Continually monitors swimming activities of guests and assists if necessary. Ensures that rules are adhered to by guests (e.g. no running, jumping or diving). Vacuums the pool and cleans pool furniture on a daily basis, prior to opening. Maintains pool area throughout the day, continuously removing soiled towels and debris. Clean the pool water line throughout the day. Closing duties include; but are not limited to: Removing all towels from area; arranging chairs/lounges and other equipment according to department procedure; ensuring any paperwork is accurately filed. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Must be certified in Senior Life Saving Certificate and have the ability to swim and perform CPR. High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate preferred but not required. Prior experience as lifeguard preferred.
