Job Description

Silicon Valley Bank's Global Services Division encompasses the bank's operations, technology, data, security, and privacy divisions in addition to Global Delivery centers. This role will work across a wide group of senior leaders and stakeholders to support and drive strategy and planning activities that support Global Services' transformation efforts during a period of unprecedented growth. The successful candidate will act as a thought leader and identify strategic topics and present ideas for research.Additionally, they will stay informed on industry, market, and company trends to understand the impact to SVB Global Services strategy.


  • Leading role in the strategic planning process for Global Services in collaboration with senior leaders and planning partners

  • Create concise and high-impact presentations to drive new strategies

  • Identify synergies and opportunities to bring together prioritization

  • Translate annual planning work into operational plans including setting OKRs and facilitating alignment on shared commitments

  • Coach business planning participates on requirements, analysis, and deadlines

  • Develop long range business plans with Corporate Strategy, Human Resources and Finance partners


Knowledge

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with at least 4 of those years of experience working in strategy

  • General understanding of broad technology strategy and associated business implications

  • Strategy & Planning, finance or consulting experience preferred

  • High comfort level with basic principles of corporate finance

  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is essential

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA/Masters preferred

  • Able to translate ideas into high impact presentations

  • Ability to think at the strategic level while driving execution on a day-to-day basis.

  • Successful experience in building new processes and programs operationalized innovative solutions

  • Ability to drive work forward independently

  • Always structuring and framing the issues at hand
