RESIDENTIAL HVAC Service Technician, Vero Beach, FL


American Residential Services of Vero Beach, servicing the greater Space and Treasure Coast areas for over 40 years , is part of the largest heating, ventilation and air conditioning company with 70+ locations nation-wide. We provide our residential customers with exceptional service, guaranteed.


This position is based out of ARS/Rescue Rooter branch located at: 2800 US-1, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Dispatch from home opportunities are available.


Schedule includes every Saturday or Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.


Responsibilities

• Apply your technical skills and knowledge to respond to complex service calls and HVAC emergencies.


• Drive to residential customer homes, greeting customers, troubleshooting split systems, and diagnosing/resolving problems.


• Describe options and costs, obtain sale approval and make repairs.


• Ensure that all repairs are accurate, serviceable, and meet safety and regulatory standards and codes.


• Promote service agreements and offer assistance with financing of service costs.


• Increase revenue, where able.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year in-field residential HVAC experience diagnosing and repairing residential a/c systems


• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)


• Strong communication/interpersonal skills


• Valid driver license and a clean driving record


• The ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and withstand heat conditions in attic, if applicable
