Data Center Engineering Director

Job Summary: Manages a team that support critical facility uptime requirements in the areas of project controls and asset management as well as supplemental engineering site support as required.
Responsibilities
Manages a cross functional team which provides Asset Management expertise, Project Controls expertise as well as escalated site support for critical facility infrastructure when required
Ensures that the team is working safely, effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance
Provides strategic guidance and direction to drive team results
Leads and implements resources to complete projects as required
Manages the team to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards, KPI's and SLA's
Ensures correct processes are followed and all documentation is complete
Qualifications
Lead, inspire and develop your team of critical facility subject matter experts
Maintain strong working relationships with assigned site locations
Maintain and improve Continuous Improvement processes and culture
Direct the reporting of key performance indicators
15+ years experience. 10+ years managing critical facility disciplines preferred
Knowledgeable in critical facility engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Technical expertise in critical power and cooling systems, life safety, and environmental compliance
High School Diploma

Ability to participate in regular meetings across time zones
Travel 10%
