Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst is a professional who is responsible for managing inventory items and the daily inventory operations of an organization. Inventory analysts are required to analyze inventory statistics and perform financial analytics to determine which products are selling the most and which are under-performing. They will coordinate with project managers and shipping supervisors to plan and schedule pickups of inventory items. Inventory analysts also order inventory from vendors and document any inventory discrepancies, such as missing items.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:

In this role you will use your analytical skills on a daily basis to bring our inventory strategy to a higher level. You will correlate a variety of data from different sources and through analysis develop a level of understanding of inventory levels, flow, aging, replenishment strategy etc. You will be able to draw inferences and provide insight that will allow Anord Mardix to continue to grow and improve production capability.  

THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:

• Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook, core Excel skills are a must!




• Intermediate proficiency using Business Intelligence tools




• Fundamental awareness of mining and manipulating large amounts of data through use of SQL




• Bachelor's Level Degree required, (Supply Chain related field strongly preferred) or equivalent knowledge/experience is required (typically 8-10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree)
