ECS is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work Remote or in our Washington DC office.
Job Description:
ECS is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Support Professional to provide remote and onsite operational support for our VA client. Please note, this role is temporarily remote due to COVID-19; on-site support will potentially resume April 2022. This candidate will provide admin support to the ECS team consulting for a client within Veterans Affairs. The candidate will provide support to a Director at ECS, for various administrative functions including but not limited to:
Providing logistics support for meetings
Liaisons with various administrative areas, such as human resources, recruiting, and accounting
Composes correspondence and emails for routine correspondence
Performs special assignments and projects, making recommendations and resolving complex issues
Sending out meeting invites, meeting timekeeping, recording, distributing and archiving meeting minutes, developing agenda topics, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting read-ahead's
Organizing and managing tasks and data calls in support of executive-level programs
Developing, managing and maintaining action item trackers and providing regular follow up for status updates to action item owners
Supporting ECS VA staff with operational paperwork for onboarding, and offboarding of contractors
Conduct initial review of subcontractor and government invoicing and liaise with ECS Accounting team
Supporting ECS VA staff for payroll, time and attendance processing
Supporting ECS VA staff by serving as a SME on Leave, AWS and Telework Policy
Completing general clerical and office tasks
Performs other tasks as needed/requested
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree
High proficiency level with MS Office Suite including Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse environment
Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Desired Skills:
1-2 years of professional experience in corporate/Federal environment
Possess general knowledge of Federal government procedures to produce deliverables as required by the team and client
Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
