Job Description:

Plans and delivers nutrition care to patients within in an out-patient cardiac rehab setting. Performs nutrition assessments


and care planning. Provides education to individuals and groups on nutrition and ensuring maintenance. Works with multidisciplinary


team to develop plan of care for each patient.



Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent, registered by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and licensed


with the state of Massachusetts. Minimum of two years counseling required; experience with group or classroom setting


preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular health and ability to apply medical nutrition therapy as well as


motivate clients to effect behavior change. Critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration; strong communication


skills both written and verbal.
