Type: Part-Time
Learn and understand all facilities department safety rules including chemical safety, hearing conservation, etc. Participates in monthly facilities departmental safety meetings.
Ship and receive items required for daily operation. This includes proper loading/unloading of materials and utilization of inventory scanning and tracking systems, and proper documentation.
Store, inventory, and deliver supplies to all personnel as assigned.
Maintain all facility equipment properly. This includes repair or replacement of light fixtures, painting, and all other general repairs to the building or building equipment as required.
Clean, repair, and troubleshoot office chairs, filing cabinets, desks, and other office furnishings.
Move equipment, furniture, cubical components, etc.
Keep facilities and departmental areas safe, clean, and organized.. Properly handles waste disposal (used chemicals, etc.).
Perform general facility cleaning, waste removal, floor maintenance, exterior and grounds maintenance, and facilitate company recycling programs.
Keep restrooms, and break/kitchen areas properly cleaned and stocked with janitorial supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, etc.
Foster good relations between the facilities department and other departments.
Handle all other duties as assigned.
