This position will maintain and troubleshoot all instrument and electrical needs.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
Job Specification:
Determine appropriate actions for work performed based on written, diagrammatic, and/or verbal instructions received
Inform supervisor of repairs that require a higher level of expertise
Determine causes of defective performance and make repairs
Replace faulty wiring and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards and position sensing devices
Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies, codes and regulations
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment
Responsible for following safety procedures and maintaining safety data
Adhere to all safety requirements, local NEC, and NEC codes
Skills / Qualifications
Generalist background in I&E (electrical, SCADA, end devices, process & equipment controls, TCOM, instrument gas systems)
Must have experience in PLC/HMI troubleshooting and integration
Allen Bradley and Factory Talk programming and routine maintenance experience needed
Must have Ubiquity, Linux and Postgres experience
Prefer a candidate that holds (or is able to acquire) a Wyoming Licensed Journeyman license
Familiarity with onshore field operations (well operations, compression, separation/dehydration equipment, etc.)
Must have good teamwork and leadership skills
Must be independent/ autonomous, requiring little day-to-day guidance
Strong Knowledge of NEC, API codes, I&E installation practices
Strong PC application skills (esp. Excel, Word) - Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills
