General Description

The Marketing Systems Technical Specialist will develop new projects, monitor existing systems and integrations, and install automated alerts where appropriate. The person in this position will assess, fix and upgrade system and application issues so that systems function uninterruptedly.

Also, the Technical Specialist will design and develop new projects by translating the vision into user stories that can be actioned by the IT teams. The work will span the entire delivery process; from assisting with identification of areas for improvement, to more detailed work in authoring user stories, working closely with technical leads to ensure the solution effectively addresses priorities, performing testing, and overseeing tactical execution of efforts.

Job Description

• Assess critical issues on existing processes, perform improvements to existing capabilities and communicate consistently and clearly with all concerned parties.


• Define and develop project milestones to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built when, to ensure timely delivery of the product roadmap.


• Author and maintain the team’s backlog of user stories and serve as a subject matter expert on features, user stories, and product capabilities.


• Create presentation decks for product and projects proposals including value and impact analysis

About You

• +3 years of experience in a similar position


• Experience with Eloqua or Marketo is highly desired


• Demonstrated ability to work well managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment


• Problem solving approach


• Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical daily actions for execution


• Process oriented, attention to detail


• Excellent teamwork skills


• Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions


• Excellent written and verbal communications in English
