Job Description:

Lead works at the direction of Sanitation Manager in support of the execution of the sanitation process.

Key Accountabilities:
Coordinates sanitation team in performing all SSOPs on all equipment (i.e., packaging, cartoners, blending)Performs Multi-Variable Platform surface swabbing sampling deviceIdentifies and reports mechanical issues to Sanitation ManagerFollows, records and updates Master Cleaning ScheduleAbility to complete sanitation schedule in a timely mannerHandles and dispenses chemicals according to procedureCompletes required site-specific training as applicable (i.e., Allergen)Understands the proper utilization of all PPE associated with the sanitization processAbility to assist maintenance with the shake down process as required in the sanitation proceduresFollow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practicesAble to take direction and follow through on all assigned tasksThis position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence The associate in this job has the responsibility to report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problemsPerform any other duties as instructed by management

Minimum Qualifications/Skills
Ability to work overtime when neededAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesAbility to read, understand and follow direction/instructionOperational knowledge of all production and sanitation equipmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and-or sit frequently or through the duration of shiftHave appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or toolsAbility to load/unload, lift/move equipment which may weigh up to 50 poundsPass all company testingMust submit to OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training and pass associated tests (site specific)Knowledge of most plant/warehouse equipmentKnowledge of plant equipment
