Job Description:

JOB FUNCTION:
Support and assist the grocery department through various tasks. Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player. Most positions are initially part-time. Part-time positions may lead to full-time employment based on job performance and available openings. To be in compliance with state and federal child labor laws, employees under 18 years of age may have restricted job duties, responsibilities and hours of work. Must be at least 14 years old or older to work in the grocery department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide outstanding customer serviceClean and sanitize dailyCashier duties include checking out customers and operating a POS (Point of Sale) systemUnload product off of the truck to be stocked on shelvesStock shelves with products for customers to purchaseProperly price and display product signsSack groceries and provide to your car carry out serviceRecord and report accurate inventory countsAssist all customers in their shoppingPotential E-Commerce dutiesOther duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 14 years old or olderMust be able to work Saturdays and some eveningsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with othersGood interpersonal skillsGood verbal communication skillsBasic math skills are requiredPrevious experience in the grocery business or a related field is helpful but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
On feet 8 hours per dayRepetitive lifting and bendingReaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, squatting, crouchingFrequently lift 0-20 poundsOccasionally lift up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Exposure to varying temperatures and inclement weather
