We are looking for an exceptional Technical Program Manager to join HPE’s Security Engineering (HSE) team. We're a global team spread over three continents that at the intersection of hardware, software and cloud to create differentiating security capabilities (like Project Aurora), that we then embed into HPE products and services.

As a Technical Program Manager and Product Owner, you will be responsible for working with product managers and engineers across HPE and HSE to define and deliver a roadmap that will over time cover a portfolio of products that enable HPE teams and customers to deliver software solutions more rapidly and securely.  

In a typical day as a Technical Program Manager - HPE Security Engineering, you would

• Partner closely with HPE product and engineering leaders to define and evolve our product roadmaps

• Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure the team has a robust pipeline of well scoped, prioritized work

• Manage and lead a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for HSE's products and services

• Help drive high quality, on-time releases by develop and directs development and maintenance of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and participate in release planning

• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules

• Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

If you are…

• Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

• Typically 10 years related IT experience with minimum of 5 years as a Technical Program Manager

• Having a strong technical acumen - a background in software engineering or working closely with software engineers

• An excellent analytical and problem-solving skill, working with engineering teams in a technical domain

• Demonstrating business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources

• Able to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels

• Excellent in verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation

• Flexible team-player, ready to work hard and to win the market

• Having technical understanding and knowledge of the security industry is strongly preferred
