We are currently seeking a Technical Project Lead Engineer to join our Vehicle Electronics - Crop Production organization. This position will coordinate and deliver engineering activities for product development projects to meet platform and brand objectives. You will coordinate software design work, communicate with platforms, work with the design teams, and coordinate processes.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
Work collaboratively with marketing, engineering, and customers to develop vehicle project requirements that exceed customers' expectations
Provide leadership to design projects ranging from moderate to high complexity
Establish plan to lead project delivery, including coordination of activities across internal platforms to meet project budget and timeline
Support development teams with solving complex problems
Document and report project progress to partners
Contribute to software and system verification activity and related problem solving
Support Product Validation engineers as they conduct functional and performance testing
Position Pays $90,000 to $150,000 ( Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience with Embedded Software design using 'C/C++' programming language
6+ years relevant product development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
General knowledge of Crop Production Equipment (Planters, Seeders, Tillage, Sprayers)
Industry knowledge in farming applications, agronomic practices, and general farm machinery operation
Project management experience in completion of multiple small to large projects from conception to product release
Demonstrated technical leadership and organization skills; experience in matrix organization with a strong cross-functional team environment
Experience with 'C/C++' programming language, Model Based Software Design using Mathworks® MATLAB/Simulink® and Stateflow®, automatic code generation tools (TargetLink), and other relevant development design tools
Good working knowledge of electronic components and communication protocols (CAN, J1939, ISOBUS)
Experience using Vector CAN tools including CANalyzer
Experience developing embedded software on agricultural or off-highway mobile equipment
Experience with complete electronic vehicle systems architecture and software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
