Description:

Performs nursing duties contributing to the treatment and/or rehabilitation of the patient under the direction of the physician. Coordinates care with all services participating in the patient's plan of care. Supervises and assists with the evaluation process of the Home Health Aides and LPN's.
Must be able to assess and implement plan of care for patients. Must be able to teach patient and family with various socio-economic and educational backgrounds. Must be able to accurately document patient care to reflect patient's condition and nursing intervention. Must be able to learn and effectively use applicable computer systems. Must be able to analyze problems and find acceptable solutions. RN with current Georgia license. Current driver's license in state of residence and excellent driving record. Insurance as required by law. Active membership in professional organizations and professional liability insurance is recommended. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have at least one year experience in medical, surgical, geriatric, coronary care, or emergency room care. Prefer two years nursing experience with one year home health care experience.
