What We're Looking For



We arelooking forapassionate,highly talented, self-driven,andproven Staff iOS engineerto join our team!


As an engineer on Global Pay Later team, you will be primarily responsible for feature development on GPL module as part of PayPal Consumer app. You should be comfortable working with cross functional teams to deliver project. You should excel at planning, developing and testing your code as well supporting members of the team with code reviews and technical guidance.

• 6+ years experience in iOS Development


• Experience developing, maintaining and innovating large scale, consumer-facing mobile applications


• Experience working on mobile applications at scale. Related technologies include Swift, XCode, etc.


• Strong record of collaboration with multiple teams and platforms to deliver and support major projects and features


• Deep understanding and knowledge around consuming GraphQL and REST APIs from iOS applications


• Ability to understand and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.


• Experience mentoring and developing software engineers


• Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework for iOS


• Intimate knowledge of common design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programming


• Stay current with the newest mobile technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations


• Work with engineering managers, engineers and QA to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs in respect to functionality, performance, reliability, realistic implementations schedules and adherence to development goals and principles


• Develop new team capabilities to ensure continued competence and relevance in supporting software development needs of PayPal's business
