Job Description

The Business Development specialist is responsible for the acquisition, retention and growth of mutually beneficial partnerships between Ent Credit Union and high potential community organizations and businesses (Workplace Partners) within a defined territory. This position is primarily focused on obtaining, developing and retaining Workplace Partnerships as well as promoting Ent within the communities we serve through active support and participation in community and Workplace Partner events. The Specialist will be instrumental in orchestrating services and product offerings within partnered organizations while including Ent Business Partners, specifically Service Centers, in this process. The Business Development Specialist will need excellent communication, outbound sales and relationship development skills, as well as strong organizational, time and self-management skills, a broad knowledge of credit union products and services and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Functions:


  • Community and Workplace Partner Relationship Prospecting.

  • Community and Workplace Partnership Relationship Management.

  • Contract, Schedule and Represent Ent at Community and Workplace Partner Events.

  • Facilitate Community Impact Team to further success across all business lines.

  • CRM Management.

  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

This position will be based out of our Quebec Highlands location but would cover the SW Denver Metro area including but not limited to: Highlands Ranch, Ken Caryl, Lucent, and Park Meadows locations). Travel between locations is required and the incumbent will receive a car allowance.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Education for this Position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field.
Minimum Work Experience:

  • 1+ years' general business development or sales experience.

  • 2+ Experience in business development or sales for a credit union/financial institution. preferred

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of business/relationship development strategies.

  • Excellent ability to appropriately match communication style to a wide array of external/internal audiences, excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Experience with/ability to use CRM software.

Certifications Required:
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. required

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is: $56,014.40 - $73,507.20(S14).

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance
