Your Mission

The Production Associate Specialist - Hardware Technology assists in the management of all development hardware assets, including: managing, ordering, tracking, allocating, repairing, auditing and retirement of all game development hardware (debug/development kits). They will act as the build mastering specialist for any HQ media requirements. This includes working with Quality Assurance to ensure that proper processes are in place at HQ.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide hardware to developers and production teams, IT, and QA

  • Track hardware in an appropriate system

  • Manage hardware repairs and returns

  • Provide and maintain hardware at onsite and offsite events

  • Obtain evaluate and distribute information about new technology and first-party initiatives

  • Be the first point of contact regarding development software: XDK, first party "neighborhoods", recovery discs, whitelisted profiles, etc.

  • Authoring builds for all gaming platforms

  • Extract or compose source data into raw files or disc images; reverse engineering of builds

  • Media duplication, distribution, and other tasks associated with the creation and verification of masters

  • Creating masters for First-Party submissions or QA archive

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Player Profile


  • B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science/Entertainment-related area, or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated skills with asset management, game development lifecycle, and problem solving

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment, interfacing with multiple departments throughout an organization

  • Strong working knowledge of most popular console platforms and related peripherals and PC software/hardware

  • Two plus years in the video game industry, preferably in interactive software publishing

  • Willingness to travel

  • Maintain professionalism and composure while working under tight deadlines
