This individual will be responsible for leading Regulatory and Audit Response Management, which includes the following:
Establish best practices and standards for regulatory and audit engagement to improve our efficiency and performance
Provide guidance on regulatory matters and continually improve our practice to identify, assess, control, and monitor regulatory communication
Strengthen the operating model and coordination with SMEs, Internal Audit, Regulatory Affairs/Regulatory Relationship Managers, and Regulatory Change teams
Define and manage regulatory communications strategy
Work with SMEs to Identify mitigating facts and circumstances (as applicable) to address issues identified during examinations or other engagements,
Prepare substantive written responses to regulatory requests and examination reports.
Coordinate regulatory and audit responses/results to ensure accuracy/relevance of content and timeliness of response.
Coordinate results and responses across multiple key partners on behalf of the CCO IB
Proactively navigate the audit and exam process in defining scope, timing, guidance on responding to requests to ensure relevant content
Maintain our centralized platform for tracking, reporting and storing relevant content on our all engagements
Work with Regulatory Change groups to understand impacts of policy and regulation changes
Analyze and summarize information/documentation at a strategic level to deliver management information for Senior Management, Regulators, BoD and management committee updates

The CCO IB/Americas function is responsible for exercising independent oversight and control over the compliance and regulatory risks relating to the IB division, the IB material legal entities, and Compliance coverage for Corporate Center. The team monitors IB's business activity compliance with applicable rules and regulations based on regular and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and testing in order to identify and mitigate compliance and regulatory risks and ensure the business operates within defined regulatory risk appetite.
