Sales Analytics Manager, Commercial Operations

BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Sales Analyst to our Sales Operations team. The Sales Analytics Manager will report directly to the Director, Commercial Operations within BIOTRONIK's Commercial Operations organization. The candidate will manage day-to-day operations & intake of the Sales Reporting & Analytics Team. They will introduce changes and optimizations to process & technology to improve the performance of the Sales Analytics Team and enhance stakeholder experience. The Manager will take an active role in changing the culture of the organization to a data-driven company and develop the tools to educate and empower stakeholders to make informed business decisions. The Manager will also lead the development and implementation of a new reporting & analytics platform that will enhance visibility and optics for sales and executive leadership.

Work location: Hybrid out of our Lake Oswego, Oregon campus -or- remote within the United States based on skill set and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow
  • Leads business planning process by developing analytics & insights to support sales & marketing strategy
  • Assist in development, key analyses, and transition from legacy analytics platform to new cloud-based analytics platform
  • Create and analyze reporting on key metrics for both inbound and outbound sales development within tools such as Business Objects, QlikSense and Salesforce
  • Introduce changes and optimizations to process and technology to improve the performance of the Sales Development team and enhance our customer experience
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise a team of analyst-level employees
  • Partner with Sales & Functional leaders to ensure reporting is aligned to KPIs & business drivers
  • Acquire a deep understanding of BIOTRONIK's business, develop reporting to illuminate status and drivers around organizational goals, and share insights and opportunities you discover
  • Understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
  • Utilize available reporting tools and technology to deliver intuitive analyses

Your Profile:


  • 5-10 years of project or program management experience
  • 1-3 years of people management experience preferred
  • Experience & comfortability with presenting to executive leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, related discipline
  • Experience working with data, providing reporting, and driving actionable business change via analysis, reporting and strategic recommendations
  • Translate data-rich subjects into an easy to understand format that resonates with your audience
  • Experience with implementing and launching new analytical platform
  • Create presentations using data visualization
  • Demonstrated success driving process changes based on analytic analysis
  • Strong MS Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas) required
  • Business Objects, QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau or other reporting tool experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong time & people management skills with ability to meet deadlines, collaboratively and independently
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity as well as willingness and ability to drive change
  • MBA Preferred
