TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Change Order Coordinator II in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for helping oversee the change order process from beginning to final implementation of project ECOs, MCOs and PCOs by tracking, communicating, and recommending solutions on regular basis for change order backlog and progress.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead coordination and communication between plant and engineering by scheduling and conducting bi-weekly meetings with all change order stakeholders to ensure the sequence is properly followed and deadlines are met for every engineering and manufacturing change order.
Review ECOs/MCOs by evaluating Engineering redline markups to ensure standards for quality and accuracy are maintained.
Perform dependency control of revision letters for parts with changes on different ECOs or MCOs to ensure efficient flow though manufacturing and job sites.
Create reports for eco dependency in order to keep Manufacturing operating at in a revision-controlled atmosphere.
Develop relations with planning engineer on design submission schedule and ensure timely design submissions.
Coordinate scheduling for pre-released documents with production.
Serve as single point plant contact for engineering and manufacturing related to ECR/ECO/MCR/MCO, and BOM issues.
Maintain control system to distribute drawings to the proper department.
Conduct BOM audits to ensure new releases are accurately coded and properly released.
Make improvements to the engineering change processes, reducing and or eliminating quality, cost, and delivery concerns
Assist in training and developing other team members as directed by Eng. Manager
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associate's and/or an experience equivalent in an engineering/manufacturing environment are acceptable.
Two to Four years of experience in an engineering and manufacturing change order environment.
Ability to read, interpret and comprehend and organize technical drawings and change orders.
Must possess knowledge of commonly-used drafting concepts, practices and procedures.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Must be able to understand and closely follow instructions and rough product designs and specifications.
Ability to analyze complex plans and be able to identify mistakes and inefficiencies. Must be able to think quickly, often solving problems as they arise.
Must have people skills to deal with various department customers.
Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
Must be organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects.
