TK Elevator is seeking an HR Coordinator in Middleton, TN.
Provides administrative support to the Production & Supply Chain Human Resources department so that all HR administrative functions are performed efficiently and effectively.
Essential Job Functions
• Provides day to day HR support for the HR Business Partner team
• Processes new hire onboarding from offer stage through employee's first day. This includes drafting the offer, drug/background screening monitoring, employee HR system set up, manager support and employee support
• Answers or provide support to employees regarding a variety of HR topics.
• Runs reports for the corporate human resources business partners to assist them with day-to-day operations and project reporting
• Maintains accurate employee records
• Input transactions into Human Resources system such as employee transfers, supervisor changes, title changes, and any other changes that impact an employee profile
• Process terminations in our system and provide support to managers and employees regarding the offboarding process. This position will also administer the exit interviews during offboarding.
• Takes initiative to solve problems and issues
• Create presentations, process/procedure documentation, and training materials as the HR onboarding processes grow and matures
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Must be very well organized, strong work ethic, acute attention to detail and be very process oriented.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work and ability to collaborate with employees and customers
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
• Strong ability in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,), Job requires a heavy use in excel reporting
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize workload; must be able to lead multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
• Customer Service oriented
• Ability to perform work accurately and independently
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
• 2 years related experience in Human resources or related business administration
• Experience with processing I9s, drug/background testing and or other confidential tasks
• Experience with SuccessFactors, or other HR systems
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING
• High school diploma or GED (general education degree)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of employment laws including EEO, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, etc.- Preferred
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
• BA/BS college degree
• PHR/SPHR (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
