Position Overview

Responsible for overseeing the coordination of the communications department, learning and development programs, training, and other related events for the company. This includes internal and external training and tracking in the Learning Management System (LMS). Provides administrative support to the Communications, Learning & Development, and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the L&D leads in regions to coordinate training programs both in-person and virtually; includes reserving space, ordering meals, ordering materials, and producing events using cloud-based platform (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)

  • Facilitate communications team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further company objectives and community relations

  • Manage partnerships with external training vendors to coordinate sessions, and presentations, prioritize participant list, ensure quiz completion, send out certificates post-session, and other related activities

  • Write content for both print and web, including the company website, brochures, newsletter, internal monitors, and other documents.

  • LMS subject matter expert for division, including record completions, launch/assign learning, run reports, and general support as needed

  • Use LMS to pull training reports and analyze as needed, including sorting, and filtering using Excel; for example, who has completed or needs to take specific training/courses

  • Assist with maintaining employee-facing systems used for L&D

  • Create forms or other data collection methods for registrations, evaluations, certificates, and additional related information

  • Monitor the company's social media and online presence as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent in experience

Work Experience


  • Minimum of 4+ years in an administrative role supporting a team required

  • Meeting/event planning experience highly desired

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail

Additional Requirements


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong use of Microsoft software, including Excel, SharePoint, and Forms

  • Experience using and LMS desired

  • May require some overnight travel (10% to 15%)
