Traveling Cook Job Responsibilities: 

• Travel to many of the 12 campuses to prepare, cook and serve high quality meals. A company car will be provided.


• Provide support to the Dining Director for both Front of the House and Back of the House operations.


• Assist with scheduling of dining and culinary co-workers.


• Collaborate with the culinary team to create the optimal dining experience our residents can look forward to each day.


• Prepare savory and nutritious meals for residents based our resident’s preferences.


• Manage the culinary experience before and after meals and for the following day.


• Maintain a clean, sanitation friendly environment.


• Prepare and execute unique and special culinary events.

Traveling Cook Job Requirements:

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience, preferably in senior living.


• Ability to travel to each of the 12 Country Meadow’s campuses.


• Valid statue issued driver’s license with no major violations in the past five years.


• Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and presentation.


• Multi-tasking capabilities.


• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
