Under the direction of the Aspire Health Alliance COO, the Step One Early Intervention Director provides leadership in the delivery of Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. The Early Intervention Program is funded by the Department of Public health and provides home and center-based services utilizing the Parents Interacting with Infants (PIWI) philosophy. The Program Director is master's prepared clinician who is responsible for program development, implementation, and evaluation of the DPH certified early intervention program and the DPH funded Regional Consultation Program. The Program Director provides vision and leadership to the multi-disciplinary Step One Early team and program, ensuring high quality services to children and families including direct supervision of the clinical director, administrative staff, and some clinical staff; and indirect supervision to all staff. Ensures compliance with Part C of IDEA, DPH and Aspire policies, including DPH operational standards, DPH compliance indicators, and DPH health and safety standards. Directs the Regional Consultation Program. Participates in DPH related groups, including the Interagency Coordinating Council and Mass. Early Intervention Consortium and attends DPH bi-monthly webinars. This position also serves as a member of Aspire leadership team.
