Job Summary:
The Training Support Analyst assists in maintaining all IT training requirements for INSCOM and its subordinate commands. Prepares, provides, and informs Military and Army Civilians of training resources available in order to maintain their DoD 8570/8140 Baseline and Computing Environment compliance. Provides subject-matter expertise and process improvement recommendations to ensure correctness, maximize efficiency, and expedite completion of actions.
Responsibilities:
Creates and routes DoD/DA Forms for military and civilian training attendance error-free and under limited supervision
Organizes training records into an electronic recordkeeping system
Compiles, organizes, analyzes, and prepares training completion data for database upload
Develops responses to records requests
Guides continuous assessment processes to ensure sustainable workflows for accessioning and management of electronic records
Coordinates with non-government vendors to obtain training information and quotes
Creates and analyzes metrics to assess training program effectiveness
Interacts and coordinates with GS Civilian Training Manager throughout the day to ensure support to INSCOM G-6 and Major Subordinate Commands
Assists with scheduled record destruction activities
Produces SOPs, checklists, risk assessments, and other deliverables as directed by the Contractor Program Manager
Monitors, records, and reports on contractor training completion and helps ensure currency and compliance
Provides administrative assistance as required by Government counterpart, including, but not limited to, answering the telephone, preparing briefings, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and producing meeting agendas, attendee lists, minutes, and action item trackers
Minimum Qualifications:
Current DoD TS/SCI clearance (as recorded in DISS)
2+ years of experience with professional email correspondence and document creation
2+ years of experience completing and routing military forms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Outstanding initiative
Outstanding attention to detail
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Desired Qualifications:
1+ yr of SharePoint experience
