What You’ll Get to Do!
The Human Resource Coordinator (Field Office) provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including training, onboarding/offboarding, file maintenance and HRIS entry. The Human Resource Coordinator will need to have excellent administrative and IT (Information Technology) skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key functions you will perform!
Acts as the primary point of contact for all MVM, Inc. contract specific employees based in assigned office.
Works closely with the operations team to handle or escalate general HR matters.
Responsible for onboarding/new hire paperwork for new employees to include completion of the I-9 and E-Verify within required timeline.
Contacting new hires prior to their hire date or training date to ensure onboarding tasks are completed prior to their start date.
Following up with new hires who have not completed onboarding tasks and reporting to corporate HR office.
Distributing onboarding material, such as communications, and newsletters to new hires.
Performs customer services functions by answering employees questions, escalates concerns to the HRBP and HR Director.
Coordinates regular, post-accident, and random drug testing process in coordination with contract requirements working with our vendor and HRBP to ensure compliance.
Digitally files documents into appropriate employee file.
Reviews weekly audit reports to ensure all onboarding, COVID attestations, and other required HR data have been completed.
Ensures contract specific documents have been collected, for example NDA’s.
Processes mail for the Human Resource Department at assigned location.
Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
Some weekend and/or after-hour work will be required as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or higher education in Human Resource or any related field.
Two (2) years’ experience supporting a Human resource department.
Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word, TEAMS, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with a human capital management system, payroll system and timekeeping systems.
Ability to type 45 WPM
Knowledge of HR labor legislations and regulations.
Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with different departments within the company and employees.
Committed to providing outstanding customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to take technical direction and feedback from the HR Business Partner and HR Director.
Must be able to identify and escalate non-technical issues to their immediate Supervisor.
Requires the ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment where personal initiative is a critical element to success.

This position’s work location will be inside government operated facilities and there are certain security related requirements as below.

Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a computer and a telephone system 100% of the time.
Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time, minimum at 8 hours per day.
