Job Description:

Training upon hire, including free ServSafe certification training, good for 5 years!!!

$15-18/hour PLUS shift differential!

Days end at 7pm!

Summary: Plan and create meals for appreciative clients while assisting Chef with dietary department staffing and preparation and safety needs.

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

Assist Dietary Supervisor in training new hire Dietary Workers and delegating tasks. 

Assist Dietary Supervisor to review team performance and provide feedback and suggestions during team meetings. 

Observe patient food intake and report progress and dietary problems to dietician. 

 Prepare a major meal, following recipes and determining group food quantities. 

Supervise food production or service or assist dietitians or nutritionists in food service supervision or planning. 

Analyze menus or recipes, standardize recipes, or test new products. 

Assist with staff supervision when supervisor is not present. 

Knowledgeable with recipes/preparation. 

 Organize food storage areas. 

Consistent monitoring temperatures on all equipment. 

Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes. 

Work with Kitchen Supervisor on inventory and food ordering. 

 Follows all ServSafe guidelines/sets example for dietary cook
