About the role:

Join us in our Cambridge, MA office as the Head of GDT Learning where you will create a data and technology learning roadmap that helps Takeda employees around the globe transform how they work, learn, and bring best-in-class services to customers. Join Takeda as Head of GDT Learning where you will design systems to promote learning programs that meet learners where they are (e.g., learning in the flow of work). As part of the Transformation Office, you will report to the Head of GDT Culture and Talent Transformation.

How you will contribute:


  • Develop data and technology learning strategies to support and develop global colleagues

  • Partner with Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T) subject matter experts, BU and Functional leaders, and HR Business partners to ensure data and technical learning strategies and plans are relevant, and appropriate across the global enterprise

  • Develop learning programs and products to ensure our learners receive the highest impact learning experiences

  • Provide subject matter expertise, instructional design, and occasional facilitation

  • Support and align with DD&T leadership, DE&I, and Talent Acquisition to facilitate a holistic talent progression program for both existing employees and new hires as a benefit of working at Takeda

  • Guide the creation of learning content that supports digital transformation, including design thinking, Agile project management, and latest technologies.

  • Develop compelling, high impact and interactive learning modules and experiences using adult learning methodologies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


  • 4-year Bachelor's degree (required)

  • 7 years of progressive experience in a learning, human resources or IT role

  • Comfortable leading multi-day workshops and training modules

  • Experience developing learning content using recognized instructional design methodologies

  • Experience sourcing and partnering with vendors to use external content.

  • Experience building active communities of practice.
