An Amazing Opportunity for an Amazing Front Desk Medical Receptionist Float!

ProActive Physical Therapy Specialist, is a member of the Confluent Health family of physical therapy and occupational therapy companies. We are looking for an full-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist Float to join our AMAZING team! With the hours varying Monday- Friday between 7:15 am to 6:15 pm.

The float would be responsible for covering our Metro Portland offices. Mileage reimbursement is offered when going between the two offices. This person must be ok with receiving texts early in the morning to come to work the same day. We give as much notice as possible, but sometimes we do not know until the last minute. Advance notice regarding coverage for vacation and maternity leave would be given. Floats are a very important position, and we rely on them heavily for coverage. We need a responsible person who will be available to work when called and give us notice for the day (s) they are not available.

Responsibilities

Front Desk Medical Receptionist Job Summary:

  • Pleasantly answer phones, schedule patients and direct patients and others to the appropriate area or person.
  • Perform routine administrative duties in a timely manner such insurance verification, data entry and collection of co-payments.
  • Able to accurately register patients according to company policy and procedures and ensure required forms are completed and signed by patients.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role desired, but not required.
