Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a DevOps Architect. In this role you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
• Experience with DevOps Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands on experience in CI/CD, Release Engineering and DevOps.
• Hands on experience on container and orchestration services e.g (Docker/Kubernetes) along with UNIX system administration.
• Strong programming and scripting fundamentals (Python/Bash).
• Hands on experience in secure coding best practices and source code security scanning and review. Familiar with relevant tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory, Docker Registry.
• Familiarity with Modern web services architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCE and distributed storage systems (ScaleIO, Amazon S3)
• Source control management such as Git, SVN
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Good Troubleshooting, Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
