TK Elevator is seeking an Accounting Manager or our Germantown, TN, location.

This role performs corporate accounting and finance support while following established procedures to develop and implement business procedures with minimal direction

The Senior Accountant - Supply Chain is an integral part of the accounting team for the Configure to Order (CTO) Organization. Initially the role will focus on systems implementation (SAP) with goals inclusive of ensuring complete, accurate, and efficient transactional processing in accordance with company policy. Following the systems implementation, primary responsibilities include accounting for and internal reporting of all balance sheet and P&L accounts pertaining to the CTO supply chain. This individual will be the subject matter expert for all systems used and will prepare various reports and analysis for management and business partners.

(Position is based in Germantown TN, with less than 10% travel anticipated.)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Own accounting responsibilities for CTO platform launch

  • Lead accounting process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of work.

  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, approving, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

  • Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives, including implementing new accounting standards, with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.

  • Identify opportunities to improve utilization of financial accounting systems and automation opportunities

  • Participates in system process and development projects

  • Responsible for effectiveness of internal controls for established closing processes and other general accounting processes including maintenance of risk and control matrices

  • Maintain a sound internal control environment and meet all audit requirements

  • Perform special projects, analysis and other duties as directed

Who we are looking for

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • 6+ years of full-time work experience in General Leger Accounting experience or related area in public or private accounting required

  • Extensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Policies and knowledge of IFRS accounting principles

  • SAP or similar large ERP system experience

  • Reasonable ability to utilize computer software to provide monthly, quarterly, and fiscal analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suites, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, ERP retrieve tools, etc.)

  • Previous working relationship with foreign parent company finance organization a plus

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to all levels within the company

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time across multiple responsibilities while taking into account the scope of work, time available and deadlines of others

  • Able to constructively work in a very demanding performance-oriented work environment with high workloads and deadlines

  • Able to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues

  • Able to travel as necessary

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
