Position Summary

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental has a career opportunity for a Crane Rental and Sales Representative Manager for the Madison and Southwest, WI area. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions

• Manage territory activity, project tracking and customer relations for the Madison and Southwest, WI area.


• Developing new business and coordinating current business with new and existing customers.


• Communicating with management by submitting activity and results reports on a regular basis


• Analyzing current marketplace status regarding pricing, products, marketing techniques, etc.


• Submitting recommendations on changes in products, services, policies, etc., based on evaluation of current competitive developments


• Providing great Customer Service by responding to customer needs in a timely manner, follow up and investigating customer complaints, developing solutions and making recommendations to management

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Customer Service oriented; good communication skills; closing skills, territory management; prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills; self-confidence and motivation; product knowledge and ability to maintain client relationships.


• Rental/Sales experience a must. Construction Equipment Rental/Sales experience a plus.


• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR. 

Compensation Package  

• Compensation based on experience.  Dawes offers an extensive benefit package that includes major health insurance, vision, dental, 401K, paid time off and long term disability. 


• This position also includes a company vehicle.
