This position will be at our Hastings- YRTC location. The position requires the ability to move about a classroom for long periods of time while maintaining a professional demeanor and outlook. The teacher must be comfortable with and develop a working knowledge of the computer-based student educational program in current use.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Any teaching endorsement, with a 7-12 certification preferred. Will consider candidates eligible for valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate, a Local Substitute Permit, or a State Substitute Permit. Demonstrated experience working with youth in adolescent treatment setting a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to regularly demonstrate patience, persistence, caring, empathy, and a desire to do what is best for these students.


This position requires working directly with adolescents who may show physical aggression and uncooperative actions.
