Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Surveillance, the incumbent installs, removes, maintains, services, and repairs surveillance closed-circuit television equipment; also, has added technical responsibilities related to network devices and digital matrix system. Directs and supervises the daily duties of subordinate Techs.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :


  • Promotes a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; reports and directs safety issues to Safety Committee. Attends monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Receives work order requests and prioritizes requests based on date of receipt as well as location of malfunctioning equipment.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance of cameras and equipment.
  • Assists in maintaining computerized listings of camera locations, angles, types of connections, power sources, serial numbers, lens sizes, etc.
  • Assists in maintaining the spare parts inventory.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of operations and personnel.
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
  • Will respond to the property 24/7 based on Surveillance needs
  • Will lead and plan special projects on property involving Surveillance systems
  • Supervises and schedules the daily activities of Surveillance Techs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school in basic electronic education/micro-computer basics or related work equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Surveillance Technician with working knowledge of digital and analog surveillance equipment and maintenance
  • Previous experience operating hand and power tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Fluent and literate in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of electronic test equipment
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, to write effective correspondence
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to work with outside vendors and other departments to complete projects.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling.
  • Able to respond to the property in cases of emergency outages or unplanned project needs.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

PHYSICAL, MENTAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to use repetitive motion, reach, grasp, hold, finger dexterity.
  • Ability to hear, see and have color distinction
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 90 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to tolerate dust and fumes
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended period of time
  • Mobility skills to move quickly and easily around the property

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
