POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Tax Analyst reports to the Manager, Technical & Transactional Tax and is responsible for supporting tax research and planning initiatives at the Company as well as modeling and forecasting in support of external reporting, executive/management reporting, and planning initiatives, as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Support the development, coordination, and implementation of tax research and planning initiatives to optimize the Company’s effective tax rate and cash flow.
Assist in tax modeling and forecasting in support of external reporting, executive/management reporting, and planning initiatives, including foreign tax credit calculation/utilization, FIRPTA and interest capitalization, as needed.
Contribute to the development of international transfer pricing strategies and opinions for related party U.S. and cross-border transactions.
Research federal, state, international and partnership income tax compliance matters.
Monitor federal, state, and international tax legislation and advise Manager, Technical & Transactional Tax of its potential impact and, if necessary, assist in the development of strategies to implement legislative developments in the planning process.
Prepare technical tax memoranda documenting the Company’s tax filing positions and tax planning strategies.
Prepare slide decks on technical tax issues and planning initiatives .
Support Manager, Technical & Transactional Tax in the provision of technical tax advice and support to internal functional groups and stakeholders, including Accounting, Legal, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Business Strategy and Human Resources.
Support tax audit process.
Assist on special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required, or JD/LL.M in taxation required.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive Tax experience, or recent graduate from LL.M in taxation program.

Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others
