Currently we have an opening for a Controls Engineerto join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can perform in either our Delphos, OH or Taunton, MA facility, with support to our other locations. This role requires strong engineering experience with specific expertise in automation/controls design, implementation and trouble shooting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of our automated control systems company wide ensuring that we are performing in the most efficient manner.

Additional responsibilities will include:
Analyze the processes of the assigned facility Identify shortcomings that could be opened by automation Design systems that can automate processes Maintain and repair systems Inspect systems to ensure they meet safety regulations Design test stand control systems. Produce electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings. Work in a hands-on capacity to manufacture and assemble designed control systems and prototype equipment. Document engineering and manufacturing procedures as required and creates user guides for the control systems. Research new products and procedures as required. Deliver results when expected in accordance with project schedules. Track labor time. Troubleshoots problems with processes and hardware Plans preventive maintenance Coordinates with others in order to determine problems and implement solutions Provides technical assistance as needed by internal customers Manages relations with vendors Defines performance metrics
