HIRING IMMEDIATELY! 1ST SHIFT
1st shift weekday position immediately available in our brand-new Hebron, KY Distribution Center. Hours of operation are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Up to $19/hour
The Distribution Associate (M-F, 1st Shift) will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, checking product against packing lists, reporting inaccuracies or damage, placing product into locations accurately, and pulling, auditing, and confirming sales orders. report any inaccuracies or damages.
What will you do?
- You will operate cherry pickers, reach trucks and dock stockers.
- You will unload products from trucks and place in chronological order.
- You will audit products and report any inaccuracies or damages to supervisor.
- You will re-label products accurately.
- You will place products into specific locations using radio frequency scanner.
- You will pull, audit and process sales orders.
- You will monitor urgent orders to ensure immediate attention.
- You will confirm orders and complete bills of lading paperwork.
- You will process orders using FedEx system.
- You will stack orders on pallets.
- You will communicate with truck lines regarding orders.
- You will position orders on the FedEx and LTL trucks.
- You will generate closing reports.
- You will contribute to team productivity goals while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Cherry picker, reach truck and stand-up forklift experience preferred/ Training will be provided
- Reading, math, computer and telephone communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
- Experience with radio frequency scanners preferred
