In your role, you will play a critical role in helping to strengthen Shipt’s analytical and operational reporting, processes, and workflows. You will have the opportunity to take on impactful projects and work streams focused on optimizing Shipt’s operational and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Help deliver timely and actionable insights -- primarily to stakeholders in our Finance and Operations teams.
Assist the team in achieving goals through cross functional analytical support.
Extract data from databases, transforming/cleaning the data, and presenting it in an easy-to-understand format.
Work on projects that can run anywhere from hours to weeks, depending on the complexity of the task.
Requirements:
People in this role are expected to have a quantitative background, an interest in learning more about the data field, and an aptitude for data analysis.
Proficiency with writing SQL is required. At a bare minimum, you should know how to do joins, aggregations, filtering, and window functions.
Experience with building reports in a data visualization tool, such as Tableau or Power BI, is expected.
Experience with analyzing and visualizing data in R or Python is required.
People in this role should be comfortable working with large data sets of 100K+ rows.
No specific degree is required, but people in this role would most likely have a degree in CS, Statistics, or Business.
