We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager in our Automotive Systems Division to support business in North America with three multi-national OEMs.

Responsibilities:


  • Primary responsibilities include managing our commercial relationships with automotive customers. This includes pricing, commercial negotiations, forecasting & planning, contract management, product development support, marketing support, customer relationship management, and factory delivery support.

  • In this role, you work as part of a cross-functional local and international team to maintain a substantial portfolio of existing businesses as well as identify, pursue, and win new business development opportunities.

  • Together with the team located in Asia and USA you develop and execute an account strategy that brings profitable and sustaining growth.

  • As part of the team you act as the voice of the customer within the organization and represent the interests of Bose at the customer.

  • You build strong and lasting relationships with key players in various departments across the customer account.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, communications, or logistics; MBA is preferred but not a requirement

  • 5 years (or more) experience in account management, business development or product planning in the automotive industry

  • Experience with Japanese and Korean car makers preferred

  • Ability to develop strong relationships, both internally and externally

  • Experience in selling high-tech products; hardware or software

  • Results oriented and structured individual that enjoys working in a motivated team

  • Strengths include excellent communication and negotiation skills, problem solving and strategic thinking

  • Affinity for technology

  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% to 30%
