Embedded Software Engineer Funded (200 Mill) Pre-IPO Robotics & Autonomous Tech Co. Seeks Embedded Software Engineer! Clarksburg, MD!

We are a funded (200 Mill) robotics and autonomous technology company that has been in business for over 20 years that's looking to IPO soon! We are transforming government and commercial transportation with programs that include self-driving cars and trucks; autonomous shuttles; UAV; UAS; and drones. What You Need for this Position C/C++
Linux (Ubuntu) or other POSIX and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) (NuttX, QNX, and/or VxWorks, specifically)
Familiarity with microcontroller programming. STM32
Experience reading schematics and basic electronics, as well as understanding hardware documentation for the purposes of writing drivers
System design and hardware/software testing environments
Hardware and software product development cycle
Knowledge of communications protocols such as CAN, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, and RS485, and experience writing drivers to interface over them
Safety critical systems, specifically ISO-26262 (Plus)
Linux drivers for camera modules connected with MIPI CSI, LVD (Plus)
Robotics, DoD, Government, and/or Aerospace (Plus)
What You Will Be Doing Work closely with system and hardware engineers to ensure implementations meet or exceed requirements
Development of software drivers for embedded sensors used on autonomous vehicles and robotic platforms
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary development team, participating in team meetings, design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and testing events
Software will support autonomous vehicle operations including navigation, path planning, obstacle avoidance, sensor processing, and perception
Document activities, prepare tech reports, present results, and demonstrate system capabilities
