We are looking to make biological research automated and reliable, and are building an exciting technology with fullstack engineering. This is building out and optimizing the hardware, biology, chemistry, and software components of the platform!

What You Will Be Doing -This role is on our applications dev team, responsible for technical feasibility and product development of NGS library prep on our exciting technology and platform
-Build and lead a team of junior scientists/engineers
-Spend approximately ~50% of the time in the lab, with ~50% planning, mentoring, and other responsibilities
-Reports to our associate director on the team
-This role is cross functional with members on our team, as well as external partners
-Understand our automation system and processes
-Generate tech requirements for NGS library prep

What You Need for this Position -PhD in Bioengineering, Biology or similar
-3-6+ years of industry experience in product development
-Experience with Oxford Nanopore or PacBio library prep workflows
