salary is commensurate with education and experience.


As a member of the Mobile Crisis Team, the Certified Peer Specialist works with individuals to assist them to develop and practice skills needed to achieve their goals. The Certified Peer Specialist teaches advocacy skills and is willing to share their own recovery experience with others in order to build rapport and facilitate a unique recovery experience for the individual. The Certified Peer Specialist provides support and mentoring as well as case management and linkages to services within their community.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


• High School Diploma or GED


• Hold or be eligible to hold a current certification as a Certified Peer Specialist.


• 2 years experience in the behavioral health field with at least one year of experience in a mental health setting providing crisis intervention preferred.
