YOUR ROLE
Coordinates and manages the contractor safety program (pre-qualification, licensing, training files, certificate of insurance).
Manages the safety data sheet files and updates to SISIN database.
Maintains computer based files, as well as hard copy files for a variety of tasks, including waste manifests, waste inspections, departmental inspections, medical files, and other SHE files.
Prints, photocopies, distributes, and files requested documents for SHE Manager.
Assists in the coordination and execution PPE programs to include respirator clearance and fit testing, safety shoe vouchers, prescription eyeglasses and work uniforms. .
Assists in the coordination and execution of SHE training, including Safety Day activities, Power Point presentations, and web-based programs. Manages the documentation and filing of SHE training records.
Assists in various Health and Safety audits, generation of reports, and follow-up actions for tracking.
Assists in updates to emergency evacuation maps, emergency numbers, waste signage, and similar.
Maintains Business Suggestions for the site.
Other duties, as may be assigned by the SHE Manager.
Provides occasional support to other groups in time of need supporting CI (continuous improvement, updating site boards, etc.)
Operates in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations
Complies with applicable regulatory requirements and conforms to the site's EMS.
Provides support to general office administrative functions including meetings, workshops or special events.
YOUR SKILLS
High school diploma with a minimum of two years' experience and/or an associates degree preferred.
Experience in manufacturing safety programs
Customer service experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Organizational skills
