Guardian's Corsicana Float Plant is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Supply Planner. This position will be based in the Corsicana Float Plant and is a key position reporting directly to the Master Planning Leader. We hire individuals who are highly self-motivated and energetic, analytical, ambitious, flexible, quietly confident, and able to lead through influence.

The Supply Planner develops executable schedules for work centers within the Corsicana Float Plant. This position will be responsible for scheduling multiple work centers and providing schedules that will optimize throughout and meet ship date requirements to maintain high levels of customer service.

Our Supply Planners work an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

Starting hourly wage for this role is $27 per hour.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Develop executable schedules that optimize throughput of production lines to meet customer demand and operational plan
• Maintain appropriate levels of work in process and finished goods to meet customer demands and align with inventory targets
• Review Aged and Unallocated Inventory and recommend disposition
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Sales and Customer Service to address issues and maintain high levels of customer service
• Report schedule adherence by operations. Proactively escalate concerns with schedule execution to the Master Planning Leader
• Identify opportunities for improvement

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in supply planning
• 1+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Microsoft Excel

What Will Put You Ahead

• APICS certification a plus
• 1+ years of relevant experience in glass manufacturing
