YOUR ROLE
Management of planning, scheduling and procurement of materials to support daily plant operations
Lead the monthly Supply Review Process which includes a full review of the plant's ability to support the demand plan and monitoring resource capacity and other potential constraints
Participate in the monthly Executive S&OP process
Manages the materials planners across the team for finish goods and raw materials
Coach and Support the team to drive results and support each individual's success
Working Capital Management
Responsibility for all raw material, packaging and finished goods inventory.
Sets plans with plants and inventory control to tightly manage and control inventory to achieve annual targets.
Drives improvements in Inventory Turns using Lean Techniques and Thinking
Constant review of OSMI items to minimize financial exposure to this stock category.
Facilitates efforts to minimize and deal with blocked stock.
Service Levels
Total responsibility for service levels to the customers for this supply chain.
Facilitates service improvement projects
Constantly monitors service levels and works to maintain or improve service levels to reach world class levels.
Cost Optimization and Reduction
Must take an active role in identifying cost savings opportunities in the Supply Chain annually.
Works to Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control cost savings projects.
Cost Savings projects should deliver annual savings of > $50K per year.
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred
5+ years related experience
Strong Leadership Skills and ability to lead and motivate people
Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
Ability to set strategy and execute a plan to support strategic goals
Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization
Proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, Word and Power
Must have at least intermediate level excel skills
Strong data analysis skills
Ability to problem solve and implement effective corrective actions
Experience using an ERP system; SAP experience a plus
APICS certification a plus
