Collaborates with business users, technical team, and management to define business user requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Work with Mergers & Acquisitions leadership to ensure that all IT and Operations (Network, Software, etc.) checklists are completed by the Point of Contact (POC) of the acquired business in an acceptable timeframe
Work with Field Service Technician (local or travel) to complete the Acquisition Asset Site Survey (see attached)
Once site surveys are complete, work with the IT Delivery Managers to determine if any information is still required. If so, partner with the acquired business POC(s) to collect the needed information.
After PM Kick off Meeting with the Project Transition Leads/Members, continue to partner with the POC(s) to collect any additional information that is needed.
Supports the planning and execution of acquisition transition through a deep understanding of Stewart's business lines, products, capabilities, processes, actors, and roles
Communicates decisions, priorities and relevant program/project information to appropriate levels regarding business unit requests, projects, and initiatives
Focuses on strategic business initiatives and plans, being proactive and anticipatory in execution
Collaborates with the local leadership and Stewart Support Services teams (HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, Procurement, etc.) to identify gaps and implement solutions
Identifies, manages, and resolves issues reported by business as needed; engaging appropriate support resources
Works with internal and external clients in the implementation and/or modification of applications, systems or programs
Evaluates client needs, identifies configurations that support business processes, executes on delivery and implementation plans, troubleshoots system setups
Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
Interprets internal/external business environment
Recommends best practices to improve processes or services
Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives
Communicates difficult concepts to team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products
May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
